The JiuZhou project reuses existing industrial premises for cold storage and food distribution. Records show site clearance, structural repairs, steelwork and the gradual development of temperature-controlled storage and supporting areas.
The facility programme includes low-temperature storage, temperature-controlled space, imported-food areas and sorting/distribution workshops. No unverified energy-saving, employment or utilisation figures are claimed.
